Took a stab at some Pink floyd

I play in a JGB tribute band and we try to sneak in some non JGB here and there. This time around we snuck Us and Them > Any color you like in-between Don't Let Go. Please bare in mind we only ran through this once before gigging

I feel like I can get some awesome tones on my Garcia rig that tend to go away from Garcia a tad. At the advise of of a few well known folks on this board I ditched the bright switch, cranked the trebble, cranked the mids and ditched the bass. I am playing my 65 re-issue>cab with Beyma Liberty 12's mic'd.

Alright so I know this is an older post, but I just gotta say fantastic job man. I'm a huge Floyd fan as well and this is some truly inspired stuff. Thanks for sharing!

I've heard Phil and friends play "Wish You Were Here". It was three or four years ago.

That had to be awesome. I believe Furthur's done "Time" before as well.

I never heard any recordings of them doing "Time", but would be interesting. When Phil and Friends did "Wish You Were Here", Phil sang the whole song. Was awesome!

Thanks Bryan!

Pink Floyd was my religion growing up, I can play just about all of them. I think our next Pink Floyd venture would have to be Echoes (we did play Green is the colour once)

Funny you said that as I was thinking that too as I read the post. FWIW---I just played with a friends band called Nine Eyes in Potter County and we did Pigs. It was the highlight of the set I think. Great tune.
I've always wanted to do Fearless too. Gotta love the lyrics.
