DSO Acoustic

Was planning on checking out DSO tonight but I see that they're planning an acoustic show. This is a bit of a disappointment to me and kind of a deal breaker. I was looking forward to hearing the Mattsoncaster and taking in the energy of live band. I only get to see them once a year maybe. Acoustic just seems like a snooze fest.

Has anyone seen them acoustic? Any differing opinions?

Cannot comment on it but I very much agree with worrying about a snooze-fest. I love a good acoustic opener but cannot do it all night.

If they are recreating an old show, it will most likely be half acoustic then a live set too... unless they said otherwise. I dunno, Reckoning is a cool CD and pretty awesome sound, I am sure it will be loud and energetic. If you lived where I do, you never get to see them unless you want to drive as far as it takes to change regional English accents.

Ive seen them Acoustic. They still are great. I wouldn't pass on it if I were you. There still will be good vibes and an evening of great music. Given the Acoustic show setting your going to get rare tunes! This may in fact be better than a "re-creation" show. I like there "original" setlists better almost always unless of course they play I show I attended. That always is fun too.
