Haven't really "sat down" with this one yet but it's definitely on my list. I believe it's all D, A and G.

I used to do it in C. 'Not sure what Key Jer does it in, but this is a 3 chord song.
Here is the basic structure, using the Number system (I IV V = 1 4 5):
All numbers get 4 beats.
[1/4] = two beats on the 1, two beats on the 4
Chorus: The first beat starts on the "lene" of E-van-ga-lene.
1 1 1 1
5 5 [1/4] 5(break)
1 1 4 4
1 5 1 1
Verse:
5 5 1 1
5 5 1 1
4 4 1 1
5 4 [1/4] 5

D 7/ with or w/o 9 makes an appearance now and then on the last beat of the D - not sure if it happens here though
