Guy I used to play with went a few years back... said it was not only the greatest learning experience of his playing life, but also one of the all-time best times period. Enjoy - I'm jealous!

I keep looking but then freak out when I start reading details:
- seems like a lot of time but less instruction then I'd think...
- the criteria for thumb technique is mind boggling

I will be there one day. Need time to figure out where I really sit in their rankings. I'm guessing I rank high in some categories but lower in others...

I have been thinking about going for a long time but it's not cheap and i figure it will cost me about $2K with airfare etc. Not that I have $2K to spare but if I did, I would probably use it to buy new gear.

You might take a look at this SK website and read up on some of his performance methodologies.
He has posted alot of stuff on how he approaches theory, gear, etc...
You'd just need to cruise this site and read up on the "Kimock" posts. 'Might give you a headstart for the FPR.
