Politics generally dont work very well in this forum. And a simple statement like vote no or vote yes will just breed contempt instead of intelligent discussion.

I feel we should vote no on prop 19 because.... what are your opinions?

You probably wont change anyones mind but if you gave your reasons why to vote no and why you are concerned especially out of state, you may be able to sway someone sitting on the fence.

I have my own opinion on it as do most but I wont voice it here unless there was a respectful discussion going on.

I have never heard a well thought out argument against Prop 19. I would love to hear what you think makes sense!

I, however, believe it is time to stop treating innocent, non-violent citizens like murderers. It is time to take the power away from Mexican cartels that only want to hurt people. It is time to give the government some tax to deal with this deficit. It is time to end this prohibition.

Moreover, it is time to let people make their own decisions regarding the least harmful "drug" known to man. I have had enough of the propaganda. It's time to let the people have a voice.

Lets leave the politics out of the KIND.

I agree, Let's not talk politics here. This is one of the few discussion boards I can can visit that's not polluted with that stuff. Despite all best intentions it's always just a matter of time before everyone's calling each other a douchebag or an asshat.

I'm all for the closure of all political threads on this specialized forum.Take that to rec.music.gd or whatever equivalent has replaced it.

Ya, I hang out at the PT (PhantasyTour) board a lot and the youguns there use it all the time. The funniest one I've seen yet is slang for labia (beef curtains).
