I was recently in Chapel Hill and this guy Monte Montgomery was playing at the Cat's Cradle, tix were $10, so I said, "What the hell, someone once told me about this guy, I think, so I'll check it out..." Funny thing, there was only about 20 people in the place watching this guy.

OMG, blew me away! He was solo acoustic. Good singing voice, but his guitar playing was off the hook! He did some Hendrix covers, but mostly played originals and I would totally recommend seeing this guy when he comes around. Don't know why I hadn't heard him before. Check him out!

i have seen the videos of him just the kind of thing i like. I got to keep an eye out for him.
