Gold/Brass Aged Tone Knobs

Anyone here know where to find aged gold or brass tone/volume knobs? Something simple with no bevels or strange curves. Basically in the same style as the ones on tiger and rosebud. All the online places that used to sell this stuff seemed to have disappeared.

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think this is the closest thing you will find, I think they come in gold, you may have to color or age them yourself. Patina's are available from craft shops. It is usually an acid or chemical that etches the color onto the metal. If they are Zinc or plated Zinc you buy a zinc patina for aged brass. Chrome has its own set of chemicals. There are websites that have these chemicals, I use them in the Leaded Glass world to patina the metal work. I would try the gold and see what the actual metal is, then try to buy an oxidizer for that to give it a worn look. Even Jerry's were bright and shiny when he first got them.

Where do people get the ones they are using on their tiger and rosebud customs? I can't believe just an aged tele knob is the best thing out there. Anybody have a source they used in their custom builds?

I think most make them themselves.

I know, Jack of Roses is gone and again we're all left to handy fella's here and there and our own two hands i guess.
looking at the thread with all the Garcia guitars, there seems to be a few with these builds with "Tele" style knobs. They look almost identical to Garcia's, within government standards at least. It's not that far fetched, the above I posted was silver, they have gold and they can be aged i'm sure.
If you are willing to spend the money, I'm sure Resurection Guitars can steer you right. There is some info on working with brass on the net too, its not that hard to make them yourself with the right tools. The above tele Knob is Solid Brass in its description, the chrome plate can be removed using tools like a wire wheel brush.
