Grateful Dead Music Forum

Hey now folks ... I'm now down in Austin TX (but still returning regularly to Boston to play gigs with Playing Dead; my Garcia gear is still up that way). Looking to find some folks to jam with down here, specifically a bassist and keyboard player, but open to anything. Looking for Deadheads, probably with an eye to playing some Dead and related material to start, but also some original music.

Damn, that's a move and a half for you. I am happy to hear you're keeping Playin' Dead together. Austin is a smokin' music town, but you better brush up on your blues boy! Yer in the South now! Seriously, I don't think you'll have a problem finding good musicians to play with in Austin, they just may not like the dead as much as a New Englander, which has been my problem 'round her'.
