So today is my 50th Birthday and my wife bought and kids bought the Line 6 POD X3 Live. The this looks awesome. Hopefully it wont be too complicated. Dont know if it will be better then the stomp boxes I have but it sure looks cool. They got it at GC so I have a month to mess with it before I decide if I want to keep it.

So anyone have any experience or thoughts about it?

Jackr - I have an older Pod XT Live that I got from a friend just as I got my Lexicon MPX G2 so I haven't messed with it a bunch but everything I've heard from it sounds pretty decent. I stuck with the Lexicon as it had superior reverb and delay but I'm taking it to my OBX gigs in a couple of weeks as a backup and in case we need an extra guitar rig for a guest.

With a lot of these kinds of things I find that they sound great at home at low volume but sometimes don't cut it on stage with higher volume levels. I only used the Pod on stage a couple of times but it seemed to do alright. I went back to using an amp so I could play with the talk box so it has been kinda gathering dust for the last couple of years. It'll probably wind up in my fire sale when I decide to update my main rig in the next few months.
