Ok ... me and the buds were watching the Dvd .... what are the tennis balls on bungy looking things on those drums that are rack mounted ?
One said the tennis balls were so the drum head didn't ring and the other said you pull the tennis ball back and let it hit the drum ....
:?:
Great DVD by the way !
:D

It is for the the residual "ring" when the "Beast" is not in use. Those drum heads are huge!

They used them to keep the drums from resonating when they were not playing them.

Sometimes they used them to peg Jerry in the head to wake him out of a nod and remind him he was on stage, mostly in the 90's....

When Billy or Mickey picked up a groupie they'd ask them if they wanted to touch their fuzzy balls. Was that inappropiate?

a hippy always has a set of fuzzy balls. usually not very clean either. Whats inappropriate is her asking if she can dip them in some ice cold water when its a hot outdoor show after Drums.
