FUZZ

How do people go about getting that long sustaining, smooth, FUZZ. I've got a Boss OD-2r, but that alone doesn't seem to hit it. I know that some are using an AxeFx...but what do you model to get that sound. I guess the sound that comes to mind is the solo in Queen Jane. None of that sharp distortion edge...just smooth, sustained fuzz. Any thoughts.

Try turning your tone knob all the way own on your guitar....

That pedal should do it nicely all by itself. Turbo mode ON for sure. Lots of drive.

Don't forget to finesse your volume knob. Start with it half-way and slowly bring it up as your volume fades.
With some distortion or fuzz it should help balance out the imprecision most of us have with that technique!
