Anyone know a good guitar tech in/around Louisville, KY who won't look at me like I'm bat shit crazy when I say the phrase "onboard effects loop with unity gain buffer"?

Wasn't that advertisement with the guy on a white horse that pointed his lance and everything was clean and bright?

Sorry...I'm of no help...but I can sympathize. I've got it even worse here in Montana...no techs to speak of anywhere nearby...my guitar was recently shipped off to San Francisco. But no matter what your troubles you gotta appreciate the turn of a phrase like ..."bat shit crazy"!!!!! Good luck.
