So its time for me to buy a bigger road ready pedal board w/ ATA case. I am most likely getting the Pedaltrain Pro w/ Hardcase and Voodoo lab power brick. I need such a big one because I have so many pedals. Volume Pedal > Wah > Q-Tron > Ts9 1 > Ts9 2 > tuner> DD-6 > Tremolo > Boss RT-20 > Whammy 2. This is the only board I can find big enough for my budget. I was just wanting to get your guys opinion if there is anything better. I have about 300 for the board. Thanks!

If you really have a ton of pedals you might think about just using a guitar flight case. Guy in the band we co-billed with the other night was doing just that.

I like it as opposed to a lot of other ones because it's tiered, which makes it easier to reach the back row of pedals. A lot of pedal boards are flat & it makes it tough to hit the pedals without stepping on another one. Also - there's enough room inside the thing to add in an AC strip if you have pedals (like a Q-Tron) that don't take 9V power, and to stash cable slack.

They also come with a power supply (no need for the voodoo labs one) and a good little patch bay. Hard case. It's great.

They have lots of models from small to big for whatever you need

I also have the pedal pad and agree with everything Mike said. I will never regret the day I purchased my Pedal pad from a fellow RUKINDer. AO guitars is building be a junction box for the OBEL along with some cables which will make it such an efficient unit.

I'm on my 2nd pedaltrain board now (had a large one, now only need a small one) and absolutely love it!

It's simple, effective, gives a smidge of extra room at the top and works well.

Seriously, the extra room allows me to have:
10' ext cord
Monster power strip
mic
2 cables

I use an skb-55 pedal board and would not recommend it. The case is nice but I have had problems with the power supply.

I just looked at the pedalpad website. It looks really nice. How is the power supply on it? Is it very heavy to lug around?

Its not heavy, its rugged, the power supply is awesome. There is plenty of room underneath for a powerstrip and cables... Great buy.

What's the advantage of the power supply? I use a Boss PSA-120 plugged into my Boss tuner, and then I run power from the tuner to my other pedals. Would the onboard power supply in these pedalboards do anything different?

I want one of these, you do need a power supply with it, which they sell!

Well - it gives you full power for up to 9 (I think) pedals. It comes with a bunch of different plugs for older pedals and even one that plugs into the 9V battery plug inside the pedal(if you needed that). I think that it probably does a better job of fully supplying the right voltage.

Most importantly you want a dedicated power supply that "isolates" the lines to keep buzz and noise down. I was noticing a ton of fucked up noise on my delay pedal- which I had to plug in because the delay east batteries quickly. I got a T-Rex power box and am thrilled. Great to have the power on the board. And no noise at all from any bad power supplies like the ones in my garage. Makes for a tidy kit.

Thanks to this stupid thread I'm $170 poorer. I just ordered the Pedal Pad AXS II. And I didn't even start this thread!
