Would you like to play with some musicians that love the music of Jerry Garcia?

We practice once a week and have tentative booking already. We do not plan on going on tour. just playing some more local clubs and festivals.

We are in the Queensbury/Saratoga/Lake George area. Tom plays a hammond and favors Melvin Seals. I play a custom Garcia rig. Jesse plays a Fender Jazz bass and can really groove.

More than anything else, we like to have fun and enjoy playing music - If you are interested, drop me a PM.

I'm a fan of that TP-6 style "fine-tuner" tailpiece. I used to have one on my Les Paul (I'm between Les Pauls at the moment).
Is yours a custom fit job?... or is that an available unit (link?).
Nice Axe!

I seem to recall that 1980's Carvins used that tailpiece, as well. I have seen a few early 80's DC-150's. Are the fine tuners very useful or do you find that you ignore them and just use the main tuning pegs?

Its a Schaller. It works great and I do use the fine tuners as I have locking tuners in the headstock.

Know any drummers in upstate NY? ;)

I played a Les Paul with a TP-6 for 20 years or so, and the only time I ever touched the tuning pegs was to change strings.
I really loved having those fine tuners and miss them on my Strats, Tele, Carvin, and Schecter.

Move to Denver and look for a bass player, and I'll be there!
