Should get here mid week. Ive wanted a 24 fret neck thru guitar for a while and ive been wanting to try out a OBEL. So i figured id get a beater musician and mod it up a lil and see where it takes me from there. If its good enough I will try it out at my gig this weekend. Ive never bought a guitar that i couldn't play first so this should be interesting.

Nice guitar. Can't quite tell what's going on from your photo but that definately is not the original Tailpiece. The Bridge looks original but not the tailpiece behind it. It almost looks like there's a fender-like trem system put on behind a bridge thats meant to be a stop bridge.... Very unusual setup. Also, your bridge pickup is after market too. Not that any of this matters, just pointing it out.

I had been looking for a Musician that was a beater to try out a OBEL and ive always wanted something Jerryish (neck thru, 24fret) for some time. I paid 450.00 for it. Im going to totally gut this guy and get the electronics up to par with new pups. The bridge had a whammy bar on it that i took off before i even got it out of the case ...lol I will be putting the original style back on it. Any good sources for parts ? Im thinking new tuners are going to happen also.
