That's a beauty... wouldn't want to cut into that to do the Garcia mods, tho.

Although there are quite a number of folks here that have modded their Musician with the Jerry loop, it would still make a nice Jerry guitar without the mods.

Just out of curiosity, MK... what is the "ballpark" value of such a beautiful, vintage guitar? I Googled MCs and found several of the great threads that you have been involved with on IbanezCollectors. Wow! Fab guitars you all have shared over there. Being that you are true collector I am sure that you and your fellow collectors have a tap into what they are valued at. So... on with the "Ibanez Road Show". : ) Seriously though, I wouldn't even know where to start. If I had to guess I would say somewhere starting near "2". How close is that?

I've asked the seller for the price. I'm guessing $1,500-$2,000, but I've seen them for for less...

I sold a rare '81 Koa model for more.

Based on the info I have, I think it will be close to $2,000.

If anyone is interested, I recommend contacting the seller directly.

I just picked up a '78 MC500 in good condition at a local music store for $1250. (but without the cool flight case) The Ibanez forums indicate the prices on these have dropped. Shop around.

Yeah.. the "blonde on blonde" (with the matching "natural" headstock) commands a pretty high price.

For some sweet MC500 eye candy, check this out (MK is a contributor to the thread with a link to the amazingly beautiful Koa 500 he let go... WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?!?!? :? ):

This one has the master tone control which I like. Most don't, requiring use of the EQ to alter tone. The master tone provides more flexibility. The seller currently has a $1,500 offer.
