Boy this thing has every bell & whistle possible. I've seen this guitar before on the Phiga website, the controls almost look like a plane's cockpit.

I have seen that one as well. Crazy! way too much for me. I reall like the look of it but thats just too far. I am actually in the process of buying a Phiga Bolt myself. It will not look like that or be 3500$

I talked to the seller when I was considering my Phiga. Its a nice looking guitar but those crop circle inlays are a deal killler regardless of price. The controls would probably cause carpal tunnel syndrome over a year or so. I really like the wood choices. This would be a sweet guitar is if had dot inlays and normal bolt setup.

+1, and not merely because the crop circles are fugly - because where he places them doesn't correspond to where the dots are normally placed on guitars.

Also Phiga's website states this guitar was wired by Mr Brawer himself.

Just for the record, i have a beautiful Spalted Maple Christa with the crop circles, and its no different than playing a guitar with nothing on the fretboard... i look at the side dots... works every time....these guitars are great, the BEST deal you can get in a handmade instrument of this caliber. marty

ps i think the circles are cool....never had ONE person at a gig who didnt dig them...

The circles are unique and look cool, but if I wanted a replica made, I would want something more along the lines of the original inspiration. It detracts from the classic look of a "Tiger" or Rose bud. They look out of place, a little too contemporary design. On his guitars that aren't Dead knockoffs they look cool.

yeah and putting those circles in funky places will ensure lots of sour notes on an otherwise beautiful instrument. I have a gypsy jazz guitar made in the tradition Selmer/Macaferri style with the dot on the 10th fret instead of the 9th and that caused me all kinds of grief. I can only imagine what this would do to my poor dyslexic brain . . .

I've gigged with this baby a lot of times, and it about 3 minutes for me to get acclimated to the side dots only....no different than my jarrett forza, which has NO markings on the fretboard....heres a pic of it....its an 07 phiga christa

The people who dig the crop circles and their fretboard placement should buy the Phigas.

Phiga has a couple Bolts and Eagles for sale now.

If I was in the market for a less expensive hand made guitar I would jump on this Bolt. You will have to spend an additional $500-$600 to get he electronincs up to par.

Not sure why it sould cost that much Keir to get the electronics right, they are pretty close in this particular example. Dont get excited though I tried to buy this guitar from Phiga several months ago, and got no response. There are a couple other really nice looking guitars on his site but alas he is hard to reach.
