Eek. We've been discovered.

Well, I did put up a few HD acoustic videos from last week's theater gig up there yesterday,have some electric stuff to follow, working with these 50 gig HD files is a bit of a bear.

I realize you posted a few but then saw that you had a "channel"...and found quite a few more. That recent gig looks like quite the official show...taking it out of the bars and into reputable theaters now? You're about to hit the big time....once again thanks for sharing.

Great stuff! And great video quality too! So good, that I have a possibly dumb question:

On Tennessee Jed, I was watching the Bf F G C part since I struggle doing that and making it sound smooth. Maybe it is my aging eyesight, or maybe the fact that you're left handed and I am right handed, but I couldn't figure out the voicing you are using for the Bb. Is it just the movable G shape on the third fret? It kind of looked like that, but then your third and fourth fingers didn't look like where I am picturing in my brain. Of course, I might just be dorking the whole thing up, but I do use the E shape bar for the F and G like you do.

I think I just do a partial barre with my index finger across the D G and B strings, kind of like an open string A chord moved up a fret, and just play those three strings.

Cool, thanks. That is what I do too. I guess the real answer here is I just need to practice a lot more!

I see what you mean, I'm just not bothering to place the rest of my fingers because I only play the three notes for that chord.

I use a lot of partial barres like that; I almost never do a full barre chord, but I will fret the low E string with my thumb instead. The things you learn when you are self taught ... LOL

The lowest notes on full barre chords add nothing to the music and just get in the bass player's way! IMHO of course.

A correct asumption. If you're playing with a band, full chords usually clutter things up.
