i play it a 1/2 step down, so your 1st chord is Eb
that seems to be the best sounding way (imo)
i am currently tabbing out the version from 10/1/94 (the best version, imo) and will post it when i'm done

I love it how during this song, jerrys voice sounds weak and tired at the begining, but toward the end, during the "so many roads to ease my soul" part, he really belts it out
Jerry does it especially well in this 5-31-92 concert
from about 92 onto the deads demise (sounds wierd, doesnt it?) jerry sometimes had to be told what they were playing, and it he always took a few moments to get into the beat of the song, and he even forgot the words to some of the songs. its always good to hear songs like this to show how much the music still meant to him, and how into it he could get.
