JT "alligator" strat

There is one on EBay, this is a chinese guitar bolt on neck, with what looks like Jack of roses stickers. I saw some JT strats new yesterday for under 100$ the auction is asking 500. No Obel, standard pickups, no buffer or straoblaster. :shock:

Yep... that sure does look like a $100 guitar with $20 in stickers added to it.

Looks like a 6-piece body with laminated wood panels on the front and back. :shock:

That might not automatically make it a bad guitar but it's very clear that their main goal is to keep costs down. You'd think they'd at least save that for the sunburst ones!


Here's the same guitar but with gold hardware and a pearloid pickguard for $145. This seems to be about the going rate.

Rusty thanks for the link and pics. It might be a fine guitar for someone, just not for me for that kind of money.
