De-lurking in SW Ohio

Howdy all - I've been using these boards for invaluable reference for a couple of years now. Started a little tribute duo with a buddy a couple of months ago and have spent loads of time here since, learning lyrics and licks. Because I've had to adapt stuff for a two-guitar duo, I've been doing lots of custom tabs and arrangements. I've been posting relevant bits here and there - trying to give back! Latest goal for the duo is to play Reckoning from start to finish at our weekly pub gig... huge thanks to everyone here who has posted lyrics, tabs, licks and video instruction!

Thanks for the welcomes, all. I'm smack dab in the middle of Butler County, between Hamilton and Oxford. The duo is me and another forty-something fella, just strumming our gitfiddles. I play a Martin DC1E and my buddy has a semi-hollowbody Paul Reed Smith electric. We are doing one night a week at a pub and it's a lot of fun. Miami U. is in Oxford and I'm happy to report that college-age folks still dig the Grateful Dead - we had a group at the show a couple of weeks ago who knew all the songs and all the words!

Very cool. I grew up in Hamilton County, lived about 10 miles north of Cincy on I-71. Glad to hear the kids in Oxford are still digging the Dead. It has probably been 15 years since I was last in Oxford. :D
