anybody play a Fargen?

Ive become intrigued by the Blackbird, Ive heard nothing but very positive things about it, i.e. people selling their vintage BF Fenders in favor of the blackbird. Was wondering if anybody here has got one.

In my stable of amps:
1964 Fender Vibroverb
1968 Fender Dual Showman Reverb
1974 Fender Bandmaster Reverb
And a Custom Fargen built off the Blackbird and that has been my #1 gigging amp for 2 years now. Only missed 1 show where I need more speakers.

IMO, Ben Fargen's amps are very uniquely inspired by the typical Fender BF sound.
He has a studio take on the reverb circuit which is very nice and his tone-stack is a bit sweeter, IMO.
Think of the BASS knob on most BF amps. Between 2.5 and 3 you have 1 perfect spot.
On Fargen amps there are wider sweet spots with all the knobs which I very much enjoy!

Never played one before. Heard about them on TheGearPage and initiated a conversation with Ben over e-mail.
We had a great discussion, got it about 60% E-spec'd, then spent about an hour on the phone finishing things up.
He was great to work with for that amp. However, he's been remiss on responses lately as I planned to get a 2x10.
