i dunno if youve heard anything about it but its the first song to sample the grateful dead. the more i listen to it the more i love it. its definitely not at all grateful dead like so u gotta keep that in mind when ur listening to it, but for what it is its pretty cool. definitely worth listening to

i just wanted to see what everybody here thought of it. im not expecting real warm reviews, but i for one think its pretty cool

they are touting it as the first song with a "legally licensed" grateful dead sample not the first gd sample.

i really love animal collective but i have not had a chance to check this out yet. there is an interview on jambase where they discuss the ep, the sample and their opinion of the gd.

I listened and cannot tell what song they sampled, nor anything that even sounds dead-like. What song is supposedly sampled?

Listen to those repeating vocal samples again and see if they don't sound familiar...

I believe it's "sky" from phil singing "willow sky" from unbroken chain - I suppose it's interesting but this style of music doesn't do much for me. Just my preference I suppose. Maybe I'm "gettin' on"

I thought tigers link to jay z's dead was more interesting. Not sure how much more I like it, but it's more interesting.
