Thank you thank you WALDO!

I just did the front street mods on my blackface fender twin and it sound better than ever! I even put in the vibrato out channel and tried it with an old solid state NAD amp that I had. WOW. one step closer to the sound. I really can't tell you how much changing those few components helped my tone.

The NAD broke up too much when i started driving it hard with the twin, so I am saving my pennies for a mcintosh 250 or better. I can really hear where the sound is starting to happen and I wish I had more time and dollars to devote to the journey!

So, I am still playing with my ibanez as my warmouth tiger is still waiting on brass - a couple of leads I had for local guys to help me fell through. I might just mount the brass plates to wood and cut them out myself! I also need to router out the middle pickup spot on my tiger - but now at least i have all of the components minus the brass.

I was going to make a modified "twin" Hardtruckers cab (see pic below) but I am concerned that one of the reasons Jerry moved the twin to a separate box was to avoid having the speakers "shake" the tubes... Could this really happen and is it bad for the tubes?
