Saw the dso show last nite, what a weird show choice --10/23/89
I thought i was an original show, from the song selection, opened with California Earthquake song ...Bertha 5 songs in..
Anyway Mattson was great with the band,
F---k--n hot goin down the road feelin bad
bet mattsons the guy
Boy the dead sure had some great songs

10-23-1989, my second show. First was the night before. Good way to start my ethereal journey.

I've only streamed a few DSO shows so I can't really compare John K to Jeff M but I also threw on the same show, Pete, and thought the lead guitar sounded really good.

I understand why Phil thought he sounded too much like Jerry when they played together in '02 (?)

In any case, Jeff is shredding and the whole band melds nicely
