I came across this video from Backstage Pass, which is a great video that needs to be released on DVD, and there is a quick shot of Pete Townsend & Jerry from Germany '81 and it looks like Pete is playing one of Weir's Cowboys. I know I have the video of this show somewhere, but can't find it. Did Pete ever play an Ibanez? I always thought he was a Gibson & Strat guy. Here's the link, the shot is around the 2:20 mark.

You can sometimes buy this DVD on EBay. Pete did play one of Bobs cowboys. The Who played at this place as well. I have the VHS if you want a copy. I just dont have the capability to transfer VHS>DVD. This is a great show from a weird German TV show. Lots of bands have played Rockplast for sure. I think its funny how they caption the songs. As the show goes on they get the names wrong and they are way late. Hmmmm!

I am not usually prone to tell people what to do, but you shouldnt buy this kind of stuff off of EBAY (or anywhere else), it is free for trading and by buying that stuff off people it is creating the one scenario that GDP frowns upon. The trading of DVD video is a gray area out there, but as long as stuff isnt being sold, there doesnt seem to be a hell of a lot of enforcement, and it would be nice to keep it that way because there is a ton of great vids that have made it into circulation the last few years.

I think I read that Jerry and Pete were buds.
I wonder if Pete and Bob ever talked gits ?- they are both fantastic rhythm players with killer sense of time and both with very original styles.
The Dead used the Who's gear for the Egypt shows I think.

Just 2 cents I dont support buying dead shows, and in fact I offered B&P. I was really just saying that its available to whom ever.
