Does a Crowther Double Hotcake run on battery(s)?

Also, does it use a special voltage power cord, (like the qtron)?
I finally have one on the way,...can't find any info anywhere. Thx.

Had never heard of it before, but in this pic, it appears to have a standard ("Boss-type") coaxial 9vDC input.

I see it, Thx for the keen observation.
The original Hotcake has been around for a long time, and is referred to as the "Holy Grail" overdrive for el84 amps, especially AC30's.
The Double has the original vintage tone, and the Bluesberry tone (little more subtle...bluesy).
Plus you can stack the two tones with the Double.
I can't wait...they're really hard to find so it's taken quite a while to find one in stock.
