Well if it is the same one (which I think it is) he has tried several times to sell that piece. It is a real Modulus I just dont think he paid 2K for it or is it worth it. If Im wrong Im sorry to that dude. I believe we have seen this before!

Only thing stopping my interest is no vibrato arm.

Too many controls - why? One can never have too many controls.

No vibrato arm - I see that as a plus!

Bobby used to do alot of vibrato work in the 80s similarly to how he'd use a slide.

I need at least 1 guitar in my garrison with that for sure!

Blue Book value= hard to say with Modulus they are always under priced. I cant find an exact match but it looks like 1200
Market value= to me the neck alone is worth 500-800 whole guitar 12-1500
just my opinion ebay drives the market up. This is a rare guitar no matter how you look at it.

I've had many Blackknifes and the average price is a $1000. Pointy tip, non fender cut, raises the price a little bit.

Jim paid $995 for his Modulus Genesis 2 a couple years ago, it has a really nice top on it. Not sure if the Genesis is worth less than the Blackknife or not.

I'm not that impressed with the top on this Blacknife, though. But I've never really liked cherry sunburst finishes, either.
