New Recordings/New Settings

First of all let me say "thanks" to all that have listened to my first recordings. I've tried some new settings and would really appreciate any critiques of the sound...any suggestions for improvement would really help. I'm a bit of a reverb junkie and my first round really showed that...I've toned it down a bit and made the vocals a bit less bassy. Sorry but if your advice is that I should just hang it up, I can't do it...no matter how ham-fisted it might sound...I love doing it.

I wish I could play guitar that good. The recording sounds super crisp-clean. I'd like to hear the whole package with a band and everything.

Thanks a bunch Highballin'...you asked for it...I've got a trio together (me, bass and drums). We play in a little pub in town and I tried recording it. It's a fairly low recording...just picked up off a mic so lots of crowd noise and a pretty piss-poor mix but we had a good time and I think we had our moments...they're just very few and far between.

Thanks Jedi,
The order is all wrong...when I uploaded them Archive put them in alpha order...It must be something about the format that I'm using...I'm just uploading MP3's. If I check the info about each tune it lists the proper track number but won't put them in that order. It also doesn't tell you the length of the tunes. I don't know if I need a flac encoder to give the correct info or what. Thanks again.

It's a little difficult putting these things up after hearing Vic's offerings. His playing is fantastic and the sound of the recordings is unbelieveable. That said...I think this one is a little better than the my last...different mic placement. Wanted to get the vocals a little more in the mix...went too far...hopefully the next one will be better. Let me know what you think.
