I purchase a Gruven amp stand ($48) a while ago. It turned out not to be as durable as I thought.

I just bought the On Stage RS7705. Very sturdy, flexible (all sorts of adjustments), surprisingly lightweight, easily transportable and cheaper than the Gruven!

Someone buy his Gruven amp stand. It's superior to anything else made, IMO.

I own one. I do believe it's indestructable or would buy this off of you, MK.

#1 perk is the height of the rear stand, it's perfect. Other stands, like the QL's are too short and top off right in the space on my combos where the speaker is and provide no rear support.

What happened that made you realize it wasn't that durable???

Here we have two contradictory statements and I'm getting to the bottom of this...

I have had this cheap one from musicians friend for about 4 years, and it suits me just fine. Its tube aluminum. I would recommend it for a single speaker combo. It may be a bit small for a twin, but then again, I never one on it. It is sturdy and stable.

What ever happened to the milk crate? You can also stuff your cords and pedals into it.

I think his website needs some work but he's got a good idea.

Mine has become somewhat wobbly. Plus, there are no adjustments.

Any recommendations from those of you who have a Hard Truckers style 2x12? Ideally I think I'd like something that sits low on the ground but will just allow some tilt to the cab.

The Gruven does exactly that...
