so im playin casey jones last night and in the solo i bend the g on the high e string and i hear a small buzz... so im like ok, did it again still buzzed.. keepp in my mind this is a new fender american deluxe strat, less than a year old, so i figure maybe i need to change my strings, its been like 3 months, so i change them and it still buzzes.... what do i do and or what the hell is the problem? im clueless when it comes to shit like this and its killin me, so some1 help please.. and its only that fret 15th on the high e

and its only when i bend it... if i just pluck it its fine,... which i find even more strange

sounds like it just needs a proper setup. take it to a tech, dude.

all guitars are when not taken to a tech at least once a year or learning how to properly setup a guitar.

Maybe needs a fret dressing. What's this once a year thing all about?

I think I've had a similar problem. Is the side of the fret, like that golden coating, starting to wear away? I'm pretty sure its not the metal of the actual fret. i asked a dude working at a guitar store and he said it was normal for maple necks. sure annoyed me for it being less than a year old though.

Maybe it's the curse of living in Chicago but I'm telling ya each of my guitars need a good setup, intonation, relief tweak annually for them to be able to be a stage worthy #1 axe. Some just hang out at home or to jams, etc and I just do it myself. For my main ones, tech time.

Yeah, that's where I'm headed. Set-up and im just gonna have him do the trem block. They are my last resort tho with their outrageous tech fees

You need another tech then and to bring your own strings and to find out exactly what he does and what he charges prior.

just raised the action a little tiny bit and it went away... fewwwwwwwwwww, i was hoping i wouldnt have to mess with anything serious, like try and adjust the truss rod or something
