Hey guys, I just picked up an old bf-2 flanger on a whim, while at the music store for something else. I'm wondering if anyone has one and how you set it to get a decent 70's like Bobby flanger sound. The 4 knobs in this order are-manual,<---WTF? depth, rate, resonance. Any help would be appreciated, even if it is general flanger info and not specifically about the bf2.

Interestingly, I'm selling a Tokai flanger on eBay and it also have a 'manual' setting - not sure what it really does. I suspect resonance = feedback, depth = width and rate = speed, which are found on Ibanez flangers. Unfortunately, I've never owned a Boss so I can help you... Check out the picture:

Hey czyfingers, I use the same one and I like it. Try 2 1/2 - 2 - 4 1/2 & 4 The only thing I do different is run it thru an effects loop with a wet & dry control.
