So I have the mesa f- 30 series amp, when I first got ot about 3-4 years ago it was great, nice and clean and even on the overdrive channels it wasn't to overdrived, but now even on the clean channel I can't go past the 12 o clock on the master volume or it's SOOO distorted and sounds crunchy, When I play live shows I have to max it and it sounds so bad because I'm doing grateful dead leads and it ends up sounding like a death metal lead with all the feedback and crunchiness.. Any body have an idea what could be wrong? could i be the tubes?

if you have been playing it for that long it is time to swap out the power tubes.
