i cant figure it out! my ear is off a little and i cant get it right... i tried to pm vic about it and not sure if it worked... anyone who can give a good accurate tab or video? much appreciated in advance

That's the link. It's his own version of the song, but I always liked his take on songs and the way he taught them bit by bit.

I'm assuming this is in the key of A, like the Band and not G, like most people play it in? Anyhow, I always did it just like Bill, but at the end, instead of the 3/4fret hammeron and the 2nd/4th fret, I did this (see below) and then landed on the A chord because I was already on these frets

My band does it and I do the intro, but we do more of the Band version than the boys and we do it in G. I also use that riff to lead into each verse, after playing the chord coda.
