hey all, i found some cool pictures of jerry in '78 with an ibanez musician. at first i thought it was an ibanez mc 500 but after i looked at the controls, i noticed they were different, does any one have any knowldge on the electronics he had in it?

Hey great new score of shots! Unfortunate that these are once again mislabeled as "79-80". Ummm hello? Donna and Keith are there, so its 1978. Interesting that Wolf is in one shot... possibly an earlier spring show. Pretty rare to actually get a shot of Maria Muldaur onstage with JGB! Let me roll it to you!

Yeah... this guy's got his shots all mixed up and mislabeled. The Oakland Auditorium has shots of Jerry with Wolf and Tiger, set up on both sides of the stage, and has both Kieth and Brent in them...
:D

That said, thx for the Musician pix - I'd only seen the one on Dozin's site.

Couple shots of Bobby with a stock MC500 in the Santa Barbara collection as well...

It may very well be a mc500
I cant tell from the pic if the top is carved, or the center maple.
The additional pot might be an added master tone control, which became standard on the 500 series musicians
Although I cant tell from this pic, I believe this git has previously been identified as a MC400.
