CNN used this in a story entitled Commentary: Grateful Dead on health care.

Yet, as the Grateful Dead sang in one of their most famous songs, "When life looks like Easy Street, there is danger at your door."

I would have to assume that Julian E. Zelizer (the author) must be a some kind of deadhead to just throw that in there.

Just thought it was cool and wanted to share it.

thanks for that, it brings two smiles to my face one for the notion of socialized health care and another for positive dead references in the media.

I can't wait until health care is rationed out by the government with all of the skill and caring of the department of motor vehicles.
