lol, it's Sir Bors being decapitated by the Rabbit of Caer Bannog.

As Tim the Enchanter says of the Rabbit, "he's got a vicious streak a mile wide!"

I knew what it was of course, but yeah, Googled and slightly reinterpreted the Welsh name and which knight is being ravaged. Sir Robin soiled his armor...

This calls for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch! Three shall be the number, and the number shall be three.

Loved the little ditty Sir Robin's minstrels sang as he was chickening out after it had started "Brave, brave Sir Robin..." What were those words?

Love this movie. Saw it for the first time at the theatre when I was like 12 as my Uncle mistook it for a Disney flick and took me and my cousin. My mom made a similar faux pau when I was even younger taking me and some other little ones to what she thought was yet another Disney movie that turned out to be John Wayne in "The Green Berets"! IIRC we didn't stay in that one for very long.

One of the best movies ever.

This thread (and movie) reminds me of back in the 80s when "Alabama Getaway" was on the radio, the local DJs, at least around here, would start with the audio clip of:

"Bring out your dead, bring out your dead" and then cue the song.

Found this, not sure if its correct...

ARTIST: Monty Python
TITLE: Brave Sir Robin
Lyrics and Chords

[Monty Python and the Holy Grail]

Bravely bold Sir Robin rode forth from Camelot
He was not afraid to die, O brave Sir Robin
He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin

/ Em - - - - B7 Em - / - - - - D - G - /
/ G - - - D Asus4 D - / Em D G - D - B7 - /

He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp
Or to have his eyes gouged out and his elbows broken
To have his kneecaps split and his body burned away
And his limbs all hacked and mangled, brave Sir Robin

His head smashed in and his heart cut out
And his liver removed and his bowels unplugged
And his nostrils raped and his bottom burnt off
And his penis...
Well that's enough music for now, lads...

/ G - D - / / / /

Brave Sir Robin ran away - No!
Bravely ran away, away - I didn't!
When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled - No!
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out
Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin

My Mom took me and sis to see Jaws when it first came out.
I was way too young.
We stayed in a lakefront house in the Poconos that summer (PA).
Uhhh.... Not much swimming that year!
