This is from a Bill Kreutzmann home movie that I got from shnflac.net, Duke U. 4/24/71 ... very sparse views, but Jerry appears to have a Guild neck on whatever this guitar is... anyone knowledgeable of their solidbodies from that era?

Looks kind of like a Guild S 100. Not sure when they started making them but that horn on the body is kind of unmistakable SG stylin'.

Excellent job guys, that'll be the one. The block inlays also correspond with the long shot front views of the neck in the film.

S100 debuted in 1963, according to one page, and is known as Kim Thayil's main axe. The similar S90 came out later, around 1972, and had a dot neck.

I also think that's an authentic picture of big foot in the first pic way in the back of the picture ..... I think its amazing you even noticed that guitar in that pic! good eyes!

I'd love to get a copy of that video. I haven't been able to find it on any of the download sites.

register and search on http://shnflac.net ... I didn't log in for 90 days and my account was deleted. There is pretty scant stage footage...mostly the boys at the airport and riding to the venue kinda stuff.
