hi all. i just recently joined the board here. this is one of the most reliable boards i've used for dead related info. i have been checking out some rigs on the board and came across Vics rig (playing dead) i noticed that there is this rack effect in there that appears to have trio written on it. anyone know what this is and what it does. might be a silly question, but you know. thanks

That's his preamp. The Groove Tube Trio , which Garcia used, 1993-1995.
