Buddy of mine is selling his Modulus Quantum 6-string bass ... at a good price ... I'd buy if it were a lefty.

"I believe it is around a 2000 model year, fretless graphite neck, quilted AAA top, in very good condition, Q electronics with dual batteries and a real nice gig bag. No hard shell case. If I price it out on the web site for a new one it lists for about $4400."

What are those things on the neck that look like frets?

You can buy a fretless Modulus with or without fret lines ... but there's no actual fret there. Kinda cool, actually.

That is cool. A 6-string bass is on my list someday, but not for a while.

Sure is ... it belongs to John Brigham, he sits in with us when Scott can't make gigs. He is a helluva nice guy and a great bass player.

Do you happen to know how long he's had it? I played a used bass at Guitar Center in Natick that could easily be this same bass... I was researching pickups for my bass project so it would have been mid-summer, 2008.

It played great! It sounded great, too... it's what inspired me to put Bartolini pickups in my Phil bass.

He did buy it in Framingham, could easily be the same one ...
