you tube help needed...

hey, I've been posting vids and embedding tab by using youtube's "annotation" function.
I was inactive for about a month and they changed it somehow.
now, when I embed the tab, it only shows up on the vid when a cursor is over it.
all of the embedded tab in the earlier vids show it, without having to place the cursor over it.
extremely annoying. does anyone have any info on this? much appreciated,
