it has little to do with the fact that its a jimi guitar, actually it has nothing to do with that. i just have a hard-on for psychadelic-esque painted guitars

I wouldnt do it for the sole fact that the seller has like next to no sales thus far. Kinda risky.

I emailed him and found out some info about the body and what monster relic does...
"Thank you for your kind words!! The bodies are actually sculpted by Monster Relic. The reason is because Monster Relic bodies are exact replicas of the coveted PRE-CBS era bodies. There have been many real Fender Strat bodies that have been measured so they could come up with what they have. The body is a thin nitro finish on both the body and the pickguard. This is another thing that you WILL NOT find on the new Fender bodies. If you know anything about guitars and how to get the best tone, nitro is the way to go."
