Just wondering if anyone has info(experience) with an Electro-Harmonix holy grail reverb pedal, they make a holy grail, holy grail plus, and holier grail, which do you use & is it worth getting the last two models with more features, or can you recommend a different reverb pedal...
THANKS

The new "plus" is supposed to be the nuts ... haven't heard it yet.
I have a regular Holy Grail, which sounds nice, after I returned a couple to get a nice quiet one. Ryan Adams and the Cardinals all use 'em onstage, if that's worth anything ...

The Jedi has the Holy Grail.
I think it has a awesome inspiring sound.
Alas , when I put it deep in the pedal chain , my volume and tone was sucked into oblivion.

McNabb was a great Scottish Blues rock guy; known for a weak tone ....he choked on vomit and died ...

Us funny.
On so many levels ....
I liked the pedal - my best results were with little recording projects ....
If I had true bypass or a FX loop I would use it in my chain.

I will be inheriting a 12' JBL of some kind soon ....
If you get plans for a single speaker cab I would love to check 'em out.
Peace

Yeah, we're funny, but looks aren't everything!
There are some plans here:
http://www.speakerplans.com/index.php?id=plans I think my friend is just going to draw up his own plans on paper to build the 2x12 for me, so those will be his and probably not anything I can share.
You had the standard Holy Grail, right? I wonder if the "plus" or any of the others are better in this regard. I would really like to add better reverb to my guitar effects, but I don't want noise or to kill my signal.

All the EHX Grails claim "true bypass". How old is yours, Jedi?
