Just curious since I see the rock-band thread got few responses.

I've tried xbox and failed at the complexity.

Then playstation 2 and played too poorly for fun.

Now have a wii and it's simple-stupid good times.

I like Joust and Elevator action. Mr do.

Recovering Laser Squad:Nemesis addict... been unsubbed from this game for over 6 months now but I still feel the pull... human opponents, lots of online community, player-organized tournaments, teams, etc. And all turn-based over several days... no burnt-out thumbs!

I am addicted to video games. When I'm not playing guitar I play video games.

Nice! I came this close (trust me my forefinger and thumb are really close) to buying an old school cocktail table 2 person game counsel that had: pac man, ms pacman & galaga on it...

then I bought another guitar.

I love video games, but don't have much time. I have a Mac and I did find a free copy of Maelstrom, which is the old Asteroids game! It's a blast and I play it from time to time along with Snood. Would love to have a "system", but that's just what I need, another damn habit to take up too much of my time! I already have guitar, Ultimate, kids, a puppy, teach full time, see live music, ski, daily newspaper, am a movie buff, subscriptions to several magazines, and on and on....jeez, no wonder I'm tired!

I started my video game career first in the arcade (tron), then with my apple II (Castle Wolfenstein, Tuesday Night Football, Choplifter, Risk). I had brief stints with Atari, Colecovision and playstation II (ATV) . I used to love playing Quake, then back into Castle Wolfenstein, then Call of Duty. Now my little boy beats me at most Wii games, except Guitar Hero, when he lets me play.

Yo, phpbb, what Call of Duty games do you have? I bought the last one, World At War in November and its almost all I play anymore, since online multiplayer rocks.

I used to play unreal tournament 99 a lot online. It was kind of a twitchy nonthinking distraction, the UT99 game. I just played tonight actually. But i find it aggravates my carpal tunnel sometimes, so i do not do it often. I was never serious. heee I need to play more guitar anyway..
I play on a mac FWIW.
