Phish Adds Additional Date

Phish has added an additional date to its summer tour. The group will return to Knoxville, TN for the first time since 1996 for a performance at the Thompson-Boling Arena on June 10. The show places the Vermont Quartet in Tennessee curiously close to Bonnaroo, which is set to run from June 11-14.

A limited number of tickets are available directly through Phish Tickets' online ticketing system for this show only at http://phish.portals.musictoday.com. The ticketing request period is currently underway and will end on Sunday, January 25th at 11:59AM EST. Tickets for the Knoxville, TN show will go on sale to the public with the rest of the Summer Tour beginning Friday, January 30th at 10AM EST. FWIW, it was always obvious they're likely doing Bonnaroo given that chunk of time off just so happens to be exactly right to play there. I'm guessing an announcement will come when they need a surge in sales....likely a month from now.

Regardless, I wouldn't go to Bonnaroo again (was there in 03) unless they paid me. What a total clusterfuck and corporate fiasco it has become.

I can't believe they're playing the Fox in St Louis. I predict that show will be moved to the arena once they realize 25,000 kids are going on tour.

They will be headlining Bonnaroo. A friend of mine works for Superfly, it's pretty much a done deal from what he tells me.

I'm too old for that hassle. I've been to many Grateful Dead and Phish shows and wouldn't do the camping thing again. There are some pretty harsh elements that I don't want to see at this point. I'll get a hotel room and see the Star Lake Phish show for sure, though.
