Hey now...I was working on this song, I for some reason I can not get the solo down over the C7. Can anyone suggest a good mode for this solo or jam?

Mixolydian should work well over a C7.

I mix between C major/mixo/blues. Lots of chromatics to be used here

I have found the Studio version to be a great study on those licks.

So I saw Boukinators post this morning while I was meesin with my strat and the Alembic Stratoblaster replica pedal from general guitar gadgets I just put together and figured I'd take the opportunity to share some of my jg blues approach thoughts. I didn't give this a whole lot of thought before doing it and it shows. It's a bit of a mess. Can't do jerry justice in a maximum 10 minute vid, not to mention that I certainly don't have all the answers on the topic.
I hope someone finds this useful. Constructive criticism and suggestions are welcome.
