Brightcove, which used to host videos for my band, is going paid-only, so I've been downloading the old FLV files.

Came across this brief audience-shot gem from 2006 or so ... which features Franklins Tower and a very cute blonde.

It's really why we all picked up guitar, right?

Hey not fair, the camera panned away just when she was coming in for the whisper.

I only caught one clam (yours not hers) in the whole time she was up there. Now that is impressive. Also impressed with your disciplined effort not to look down her blouse where there appeared to be some liveliness. I must assume then that your wife or girlfriend was in the audience.

You mean you didn't notice that I couldn't figure out how to turn the overdrive on for the second solo, fumbling with the guitar controls? Or that I played the same solo twice ... LOL.

She whispered, "See you backstage at the break, Tiger." Or at least that's how I remember it. The bouncers escorted her off the stage a minute later.

I was unmarried and between girlfriends at the time ... she was a cutey :-)

But I won't be showing that particular clip to my new wife ... LOL
