Guitar direct boxes?

Completing work on my rehearsal - recording space ... with the idea that it might be possible to do some rehearsing with headphone mixes to keep the volume down in the evenings. I have a set of Roland V-Drums which sound terrific through headphones. Keyboards are easy. Bass can be DI'd. But guitar is harder to get a good sound out of through a direct box, I'd like to run out of my preamp and into some sort of direct box that has cabinet emulation on it, preferably one that is variable, i.e., open back clean, 4X12, closed cab, etc. I used to have an ADA Microcab, but wasn't all that impressed with it.

Anyone know of any decent options out there?
