Jerry Tone on Amp!

Just wondering...even though every combination of equipment is way different...where do you guys set your amp as far as treble and mid and bass and everything to get that tone? i like to set treble around 8...mid about the same...and bass like 4...let me know! peace

I have a Twin Reissue and i pretty much set it the same way you have mentioned above almost identically. I usually play a 95 Strat or my resurrection bolt and seem to get pretty close to that sound with this amp setting. Treb 8/9 Mids 8 Bass 3/4

mid 8 treble 7 bass a touch above 1.
Bass never goes above 2

I usually have my Bass at about 2.25; it'll be a touch different for everyone. Just listen for the sweet little threshold right in the neighborhood of 2, as you slowly turn it up.

BINGO! Somewhere between 2 and 3 the tones goes from anemic to emboldened bass. Catch it just at that point when it starts to morph and that, IMO, is the sweet spot.
