I am pretty confident I saw Jerry or the Dead in Chicgao around Thanksgiving 1974. (I believe it was the night after George Harrison at old Chicago Stadium.) Can anyone shed some light for me on this?

Doubtful man, thats after the 'farewell' shows. Last 74 show was Oct. 20.

Maybe GD 7/25/74 at Int'l Amphi.

Garcia didn't make any other appearances in Chicago in '74

Whether you saw them/him or just think you did, most of us are jealous!

for my money that is even better than the 7/25/74 dead show which is awesome in its own right.

I Love the JGB version with Nicky Hopkins. It is killer. Nicky provides some drunken comedic value as well as sublime piano chops.

Yeah, the piano player in my band mimics Nicky pretty well minus the drunken antics...

Too funny, that's what I just posted above. It's not Legion of Mary though, it's billed as Jerry & Friends w/Nicky Hopkins...

Last legion show was in the summer of 75'

Nah,your timeline is a little off there tiger...
LOM was done by fall of 75. Fall of 75 was the Jerry and Nicky show
